I'm tired of the B.S.

I'm getting tired of it.

I am becoming increasingly irritated/saddened by network marketing trainers that uses phrases like this:

--Do these three things and CRUSH your next rank!!!

--Here is how you can generate unlimited WHITE-HOT leads for your business!!!

--I want to teach you the same SECRET TRICK that Meghan used to sign up 8,654,936,764,954 people in just 24 hours!!!

I never really bought into this overblown hype marketing, but embarrassingly, for just a minute, I actually started using the term 'hot leads' in my marketing because I thought that since everyone else was doing it I should do it too. Glad I came back to reality real quick.

First, logically, if their "secrets" worked, then everybody would be at the top rank of their company. The evidence does not show this.

Here's the deal. I'm not going to teach you gimmicks and tricks that are not sustainable. Yeah they might give you some quick wins, but people catch on to things and then it stops working so what's the point.

(And I know this 100% because when I first started in the Network Marketing industry I built using gimmicks, it was exhausting and unsustainable for the long term.)

What I really want to teach you may take a little bit longer, but is sustainable, and will give you results not just in network marketing but in any business (and many times, your life in general.)

In the words of the Spice Girls.... Here's what I want 🎶 what I really really want 👇👇👇

✅I want to teach you high-level corporate marketing.

✅I want to teach you how to speak to people's pain points.

✅I want to teach you how to package your solution in a way that makes sense to people.

✅I want to teach you how to start business conversations.

✅I want to teach you how to build communities.

✅I want to teach you real systems and strategies that worked a decade ago, work now and will work a decade from now.

✅I want to teach you things that easily translate across-the-board.

Meaning if a new social media platform pops up, you can easily roll on over there without having to develop an entirely new strategy.

Or if for some reason the internet shuts down, you could still take all the skills and apply them to in-person.

And most importantly....

✅ I want to teach you the mindset and the confidence behind it all so you are fully equipped and well-rounded in your business.

It would be absolutely ridiculous for me to promise that if you just do this "one thing," you will get 'white-hot leads' because it's just not that simple. It depends on your personality. It depends on your ability to close a sale. It depends on your mood. It depends on your mindset. It depends on your beliefs about it.💯

Here's what I can tell you, and here's the way I teach it.

1) You have to know how to generate leads.
This comes from starting conversations, speaking to pain points, and sharing your solution.

2 ) You have to know how to take them to the next step. Digging down deeper, transferring your belief.

3 ) You have to know how to block objections, handle objections and and also when to walk away and take the loss. (It's also helpful if you know how to lead this part of the conversation without ever hearing a no.)

4 ) You have got to have a good personal brand, and people who like you. If you are boring with no personality, then you are just going to get lost. (Tip: when you get really good at your personal brand and showcasing your personality, this can somewhat trump your need for 1-3 because people will want to purchase from you and join you just because of who you are and they want to be like you.)

5 ) You have to have the mindset that backs all of this up. Shitty mindset, shitty business. Period.

6 ) You have to understand the place in which you operate your business from. So if you were going to open a brick-and-mortar business, then you better understand how to hire a manager, pay your employees and everything that goes with it. If you're going to work your business from Facebook, then you better understand how to use your profile, create groups, use stories, the algorithm etc.

7 ) You have to understand how to be a great leader. (not a perfect leader because those don't exist, but you should aim to be a great one) You have to learn how to deal with many different types of personalities. You have to know how to love people, yet stand your ground. You have to know how to get people to take action and you have to know how to build systems and strategies, or lead other people to build systems and strategies. You have to be able to motivate people and keep them on the right track even if things are falling apart. You can never let them see you panic.

8) You have to know how to brand your business. How to create assets, choose colors, a logo... a cohesive 'look' that is in line with your personal brand, your messaging, your mission and how you want to serve people.

Phew! There you go. THAT ☝️☝️☝️is what you need to build a sustainable business. Not singing people happy birthday, complimenting them three times before sending them a message or hosting a million 15-minute Facebook parties.

When you put those 8 things together, that's when you have a sustainable business that will continue to grow year after year. And the great thing is...

YOU CAN LEARN AS YOU GO! Wooohoo!

So going forward I pledge to not use spammy marketing tactics like 'secret hacks' or 'white-hot leads' or 'crush your business.'

I'm over it. We are never going to legitimize network marketing if we continue to push this gimmicky stuff.

I stand for REAL BUSINESS SKILLS.

Not manipulative tactics.

That is how I'm completely different from other "Generic Network Marketing Coaches." (And I'm even starting to hate that term. I'm a brain & business coach. I can teach you whether you are in direct sales or have your own coaching business. Because solid business strategies work in any business.)

And I also don't care if you say what company you are with in here, because we are all adults and if you love your business, somebody talking about theirs, is not going to cause you to freak out and join someone else.

It's my goal to get you so good at 1-8 from above that you could easily go get a 6-figure job in corporate America if you had to. 👏👏👏
