Making Decisions based on your Authority

How to make the best decisions using your Human Design Authority:

Making Decisions as an Emotional Authority

There is no truth in the now. I need to wait until I have felt up and happy, and then when I have felt down and low. After feeling the decision out through both of those, and coming to a neutral place in between the two, I will have more clarity on what is the best choice.

Making Decisions as a Sacral Authority

I can tap into my sacral through asking yes/no questions to find out what my best choice is. I trust my sacral to lead me in the right direction with its uh-uhs and nuh-uhhs... I feel the answers in my body through whether I desire it or not and I leave my mind (logic) out of it.

Making Decisions as a Splenic Authority

I feel an intuitive hit and I trust it and act on it. I surrender to my instincts even when they don't make any sense. I know that intuitive hits don't repeat, so I take heed the first time. I trust my intuition, it always guides me the right way.

Making Decisions as a Self-Projected Authority

I think about where I want to go and ask - does this support that? I speak my thoughts out loud and see how it feels as I talk about the choices. Will it take me in the direction I want? Will it get me closer to what I want?

Making Decisions as an Ego Authority

I look for desire in my body when I thinking about a decision. Do I desire it? Do I have the willpower to make it happen? Do I truly want it? Will it make me happy? I speak it out loud and listen for the passion in my voice.

Making Decisions as a Sounding Board Authority

Getting things out of my head and sharing my options with someone I trust is the way I make decisions. As I speak, my choice becomes clear. I have to get them out of my head so I can make sense of things by speaking it outloud.

Making Decisions as a Lunar Authority

I hold space for the options that present themselves to me, and then I feel them out for as long as I can. For larger decisions I wait a full 28 days so I can experience the idea of each option through a long wait that I can get true clarity on which decision to make.

What is your authority? Do you use it to make decisions?
