Human Design versus Personality Tests

Personality Test:

A quick (and limited) snapshot of where you currently are, with all your conditioning.

Human Design:

An in-depth blueprint of how your energy flows, that you can use to decondition and get into alignment.

I'm a huge fan of personality tests and I really love them for sales. Because when you can use immediate clues (like how a person talks and dresses) to help shape the sales conversation, you're going to be able to speak to somebody exactly in the way that will get the most results. (The four color personalities are my favorite hack for this.)

However, the four color personalities are also quite limiting in terms of self-development. And they give you a snapshot of where you're at in life right now with all the layers of your conditioning… but personality tests are not a tool to help you peel back the layers.

Human Design is FAR better than personality tests when you really want to experience personal growth and development. You can get an understanding of how your energy flows, how to get into alignment and how to begin the process of deconditioning to get back to your true nature.

But when it comes to a sales conversation, (or any conversation really) you cannot look at how somebody speaks and dresses and make an assessment of their design. You might be able to pick up small clues like an undefined center, but with all the conditioning that person has, it will be nearly impossible for you to be able to accurately guess what they are.

So, when it comes to me understanding someone else in that moment… color personalities win.

But when it comes to digging deep and discovering who I am (for helping you discover who you are) so we can get into alignment and live with more flow and ease… Human Design wins. 🙌

Personality tests and Human Design are amazing tools but serve very different purposes. ✨
