Stop worrying about being nice!

"Be nice."

"If you don’t have something nice to say then don’t say it at all."

Were you raised on these sayings?

Did you know that biting your tongue and ‘being nice’ and squashing down your inner desires can also be a survival mechanism? These sayings were also a way to train us to fit into society and say what other people want to hear.

Repetition.

After we heard it enough, our brain began to believe it.

Some heard it more than others, and some have a stronger will than others, so it affected everyone differently. And unless you were raised by wolves, you have been the victim of this societal programming.

Children are literally programmed by their parents and society from 0-7 years old where the brain is mostly in a theta (hypnotized) state. And once programming happens it’s very difficult to undo. We literally are a programmed product of the people who raised us and society.

This isn’t necessarily a bad thing entirely, it’s just that most parents and society are just passing down the same thing from generation to generation. And we learned early on that to be loved and accepted, (aka survive) we had to ‘fit in’ and ‘be nice.’

But what happens when we are always choosing 'nice' we don’t learn how to communicated our desires. Instead we learn how to say what other people want to hear.

Now don’t get it wrong, this isn’t about not being nice. It’s about deconditioning the layers that were forced/given/projected onto us, and unveiling the layers that are truly us. Instead of worrying about being nice all the time, practice these qualities instead:

✅ Discernment
✅ Resilience
✅ Emotional Intelligence
✅ Empathy
✅ Courage
✅ Communication

And do so within the framework of who you really are. Do the inner work. Rediscover yourself. Build a business and a life around your desires.

Stop worrying about being ‘nice’ – it’s not serving you anymore.

Speak your truth. Share your perspective. Find your tribe who accepts you for who you are. I love you, and I love me, we are all a little crumb of the same big cosmic pie. ❤️
